![]() I agree with paying more for more reliable service, but how much more is too much? When AT&T with Verizon are the only two major carriers left, then you effectively DONT have a choice but pay highly inflated service charges. & If the major carriers control the network towers anyway, they could just charge Metro, Virgin, Boost, etc more & those cost would go up also. This is already a problem w the smaller carriers (that piggyback on the major carriers’ networks anyway) since they dont ever get any of the high end popular devices. Sprint will likely get squeezed out of the competition since AT&T & Verizon will be far too strong striking so many exclusive deals w Mftrs you’ll start to see less appealing devices on sprint. Verizon isnt exactly “another option” when their policies and prices are in line, if not more expensive than AT&T. They were going to do it anyway but instead held back on it and decided to use it as an excuse for the merger instead. ![]() Do YOu get it? the word going around is AT&T can deploy 97% coverage only at a fraction of the cost of buying TMo.
